About Dr. Prof Sukhbir Uppal Dr. Prof Sukhbir Uppal is a Rheumatologist, based in Mohali having 16+ years of expereince. His expertise lies in muscle pain, back pain, neck pain, osteoporosis, Vitamin D deficiency, autoimmune diseases, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), gout, psoriatic arthritis, etc. Dr. Uppal completed his graduation and post-graduation from the reputed Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Later, he did Postdoctoral Fellowship in Rheumatology from the well-known All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, Indian College of Physicians, Indian Rheumatology Association, Emirates Rheumatology Association, Indian Medical Association, Punjab Medical Council. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications and he is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CME’s, and worldwide conferences to talk about the different types of Arthritis. He has worked with some of the primer institutes such as Fortis Hospital, Aster Al Rafah Hospital, University Hospital, Sharjah, Kuwait University Teaching Hospital, Indian Army Hospitals, etc.
