About Dr. R. Ravi Dr. R. Ravi is a well-known Gastroenterologist, with experience of over 35 years. In his career spanning over three decades, he has performed over 7000 ERCPs, 20000 Upper GI Endoscopy and 5000 Lower GI Endoscopies. He offers treatment for advanced and complex GI conditions like GI Bleeding, Obstructive Jaundice and Pancreatic Disorders. He is the pioneer in carrying out Endoscopic Choledochoduodenostomy in Tamil Nadu. He is the second doctor in India to perform SEMS for Pseudo Cyst of Pancreas. He was the recipient of the “best contributor for the hospital’s growth” award for the year 2004 by Apollo Hospital, Madurai. He takes a keen interest in teaching and is a national and international faculty for advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy courses. The doctor is a member of Tamil Nadu Medical Council and a Life Member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology.
