About Dr. Raghuram Mallaiah Dr. Raghuram Mallaiah has more than 25 years of expertise in the field of pediatry and neonatology. He has done several resuscitation, intubation, and ventilation procedures on newborn infants. He has performed several exchange transfusions for newborns with rhesus incompatibility, as well as partial exchange transfusions for babies with symptomatic polycythemia. He graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1994, followed by postgraduate training in paediatrics and neonatology in the United Kingdom from 1994 to 2004, and MRCP(UK) paediatrics in 1999. Fellow in PICU, Newcastle General Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne Registrar in Neonatology, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, Fellow in Neonatology Hammersmith Hospital Imperial College London, UK. He gave talks at the Neonatal Society of England, the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London, the RCOG annual session in Delhi, the AICOG in Delhi, and other renowned national and international societies. He also founded the Breast Milk Foundation, a non-profit organization that specializes in human milk banking, as well as the first Milk Banks in Delhi and Bangalore.
