About Dr. Rajendra Tiruchelvarayan Dr. Rajendra Tiruchelvarayan is a neurosurgeon having more than 20 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes a wide range of general neurosurgical conditions, and he sub-specialises in spine surgery and children’s neurosurgery. As a paediatric neurosurgeon, Dr Rajendra treats young patients with head injuries, hydrocephalus, brain tumours and spinal problems. In 1997, Dr. Rajendra received his degree from the National University of Singapore. After more than two years of specialised training in London Hospitals, he finished his neurosurgery training in the UK in 2006. The National Hospital for Neurology, Neurosurgery in Queen’s Square, King’s College Hospital, and St. George’s Hospital were among the places where this was experienced. Director of Spine Neurosurgery at National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital are just a few of his prior positions. He also treats youngsters with dysraphism and spinal diseases including spinal lipomas and myelo-meningoceles. To better care for patients and get better results, he invented new minimally invasive spine surgical techniques. In Europe, Asia, and Singapore, he has been invited to impart his knowledge on the treatment of spinal problems to neuro and orthopaedic spine surgeons. Dr. Raj is a representative of the East-Asia AO Spine faculty. Dr. Rajendra Tiruchelvarayan is fluent in English.
