About Dr. Rajiv Parakh An expert in Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular sciences, and currently appointed as Chairman at Medanta, the Medicity. Established one of the country’s first independent departments of vascular surgery at a city hospital Expertise in Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Carotid Surgery, Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Below the knee angioplasty & Vascular Trauma. He has been a convener for teaching programme by the National Board of Examiners Dr. Rajiv Parakh completed his MBBS and MD from Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi in 1981 and 1986 respectively. Further, he also acquired FRCS in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons,United Kingdoms in 1987. Founder & Life Member of Vascular Society of India (VSI) 1997 Founder & Executive Committee Member of Endovascular Intervention Society of India (EISI) Member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS) He was also the organizing Chairman 13th Annual Conference of Vascular Society of India attended by the President and Treasurer of the Vascular Society of Great Britain, and the Editor of the European Journal of Vascular Surgery in 2006. He was also a part of Prof. Hari Vaishnava Oration by Delhi Medical Association in 2008.
