About Dr. Rajkumar palaniappan Minimal Access Surgeon with 20+ years of experience Prior work experience include worked under one the doyen of laparoscopic surgery during his tenure in the UK, and Head of the Department of Gastro and Obesity Surgery, Apollo Victor Hospital Goa, Consultant Surgeon LifeLine Hospitals Chennai, and Assistant Professor, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore. one of the very few qualified masters degree holder in the laparoscopic field (MMAS) in India. Published many research papers such as “Window Technique” Cholecystectomy Published in an International journal. One of the few surgeons to perform laparoscopic Whipple’s Procedure in 2008 One of the pioneers in the field of SILS and Robotic surgery and possess the distinction of having performed the most variety of Single port procedures in the country till date. Pioneered many procedures in India and Asia  such as Endoluminal Revision Gastroplasty, World’s first SILS Revision Bariatric, Robotic Gastric Bypass  and the list goes on. Performed notable research work in the field of laparoscopy.
