Roy award for being an eminent teacher and researcher. He is an active member of American Gastroenterological Association, Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology, Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and International Association of Pancreatology, India Pancreas Club association of physician of India and Indian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.
