About Dr. Ravindra B S Dr. Ravindra B S is a Medical Gastroenterologist with 20+ years of experience in the field. He is a professional member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG), Society of Gastroenterointestinal endoscopy (SGEI), and is also a member of the American Society of Gastroenterology (ASGE). He is the President of Post-Graduate Club, Government Medical College, Nagpur and Organising Committee Member, Annual Conference of Indian Society of Gastroenterology. ISGCON. He is an expert in the field of endoscopy with more than 10000 procedures and has a keen interest in areas such as ERCP, Capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy, and 3rd space endoscopic procedures. He completed MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, Dharwar University in 1999, MD – General Medicine from Government Medical College, Nagpur in 2004, and DM – Medicine from National Board, New Delhi in 2005. He also has a Fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy – Double Balloon and Spirus from Gentofte Hospital, Copenhagen University, Denmark in 2010. He has started the Hepatitis support group, IBD support group, and Pancreas support group for the alleviation of pain and suffering in these chronic diseases. Dr. Ravindra has written articles and presented posters in various national and international journals and conferences respectively.
