About Dr. Ravindra Singh Shekhawat Dr. Ravindra Singh Shekhawat is a neurologist having more than 10 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes variety of neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, and a number of neurodegenerative and neuromuscular disorders. He finished his medical education in Chennai, India, and received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree the following year. Dr. Ravi joined the Royal College of Physicians in the UK in 2013, and in 2017 he completed his senior residency training in neurology at MOH Holdings (MOHH). This was followed by one-year fellowships at the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP, Edinburgh) in 2020 and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS), respectively. Dr. Ravi has given numerous lectures both domestically and internationally. In 2019, he served as a clinical teacher at both Duke-NUS Medical School and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was also a distinguished member of the American Academy of Neurology. Additionally, he participated in the Singapore Neurology (NNI SGH Campus) Residency Program in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, Dr. Ravi began working at The Neurology Practice where he is currently a consultant for the National Neuroscience Institute. At Changi General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, Dr. Ravi has also been offering neurology services. Dr. Ravi has received numerous honours. He was awarded a SingHealth Foundation Research Grant Call Award in 2015. The Service with a Heart Award was given to him in 2016, and the Outstanding Senior Resident Award in the Neurology Training Program was given to him in 2017. He is also skilled at treating diseases that affect sleep and those that cause neck and back discomfort. Stroke is a specialty and area of interest for Dr. Ravi. Dr. Ravi has actively participated in teaching and mentoring medical students and new doctors in addition to his clinical work. Additionally, he has written numerous publications about strokes for various reputable journals. Dr. Ravindra Singh Shekhawat is fluent in Bengali, English, Hindi, Malay, and Tamil.
