About Dr. Rima Mounla Dr. Rima Mounla is an American Board Certified Pediatrician/Neonatologist practicing for more than 31 years. She holds expertise in handling neonatal diseases. After completing her training in the USA, she finished her residency in Pediatrics in 1998 at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, and her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Louisville, Koair Children Hospital in Louisville Kentucky, USA. In 2005, she moved to Saudi Arabia and joined Saad Specialist Hospital in Alkhobar, KSA as a consultant neonatologist. She has a key role in establishing level 3 NICU with the introduction of iNO and high-frequency ventilation. In 2009, she moved to Dubai and established level 3 NICU in the two reputable hospitals, DR. Sulaiman al Habib hospital then Alzahra hospital Dubai. She is a well-known speaker at various national and international conferences. She is professionally affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
