About Dr. S.S. Sathappan Dr. S.S. Sathappan is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 27 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes adult reconstructive surgery (joint replacement, primary and revision), and management of complex pelvic and acetabular trauma and sports surgery. In 1995, he earned his MBChB from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. In 1999, he earned his FRCS in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSE), and in 2003, he earned his FRCS in trauma & orthopaedic surgery from the same institution. He has received accreditation from Parkway East Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, and Gleneagles Hospital. All orthopaedic/sports injury medications as well as physiotherapy services are provided at his clinic. Dr. S.S. Sathappan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2004 and a Fellow of the Alumni of Surgeons at the Hospital for Joint Diseases-New York University. He has been a member of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association since 1995 and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom since 2004.
