About Dr. Samar Kumar Gupta Dr. Samar Kumar Gupta is a leading Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with n extensive experience of +42 years.  Some of his professional affiliations include, memberships of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, West Bengal Orthopaedic Association and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). Dr. Gupta completed his graduation in 1976 from Calcutta National Medical College, followed by D. Ortho in 1981. He then did his MS in 1988.  He has performed thousands of around 500 joint replacements, trauma surgeries and numerous mega prosthesis for tumours. Dr. Gupta is reputed for his expertise in performing joint replacement and reconstructive surgeries. He also does prosthesis for tumours and trauma surgeries. He has authored a few research papers for medical journals.
