About Dr. Sanjeev Rohatgi   Dr. Sanjeev Rohatgi is a 27-year-experienced Liver Transplant, Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic, and Gastrointestinal Surgeon in Whitefield, Bangalore. He has vast experience in successfully addressing all GI surgery diseases, including difficult benign and widespread cancers of the upper and lower GI tract. He is a super-specialist in HPB (Liver, Pancreatic, and Biliary) surgery, with 8 years of experience handling these complex illnesses in the UK. He also specializes in Adult and Pediatric Liver Transplantation and served as a consultant at Medanta Hospital for nearly 4 years before joining Manipal Hospital. He received his MBBS from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh in 1993, MS – General Surgery from the same institution in 1997, and FRCS – Intercollegiate (HPB & Upper GI) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSE) in 2016. Dr. Sanjeev Rohatgi has completed fellowships at three large-volume centers in the United Kingdom, namely Birmingham, Newcastle, and Edinburgh, during which he completed his Fellowship and European Board examinations. He completed his DNB GI surgery training in Mumbai and worked for 5 years at Jaslok Hospital and Jagjivan Ram Hospital. He has over 500 Liver Transplants to his name, as well as almost 1000 HPB, and GI procedures and is competent in laparoscopic surgery. He has a long list of publications to his name and has given numerous presentations at international conferences. He is fluent in languages like English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
