About Dr. Sanjeevkumar Ramchandra Kalkekar Dr. Sanjeevkumar Ramchandra Kalkekar is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist with 13+ years in the field He is a member of the cardiac team for the Heart Transplant Department at MGM’s New Bombay Hospital, Vashi. He received the First Prize for case presentation at Indo Jananese CTO Club in 2013 and scored as best five Case Presenter Awards at NIC Kolkatta meet in 2013, Dr. Kalkekar specializes in permanent pacemaker implantation, device closure of ASD/PDA, IVC filter implantations, complex angioplasty, and balloon valvuloplasty. With his extensive expertise in the field, he now uses new-age technologies like IVUS, OCT, FFR for optimization of angioplasty. He has rich experience of more than 10,000 interventional procedures in the last ten years and has written several publications in reputed national and international journals.
