About Dr. Satya Karna Dr. Satya Karna is a senior and skilled practicing Ophthalmologist with +22 years of experience clinically and surgically treating ophthalmological conditions. He holds professional memberships of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, Noida Ophthalmological Society, Ludhiana Ophthalmological Society, Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Society of India and the Indian Neuro-ophthalmological Society of which he is a Joint Secretary. Dr. Karna completed his MBBS in 1993 from JIPMER, Puducherry. He then did his DO in 1997 and DNB Ophthalmology in 1998, both from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He then did further super-speciality training in neuro-ophthalmology at  Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He also underwent training at the New Vision Laser Centres, Vadodara in LASIK, FemtoLASIK and SMILE. Dr. Karna is a renowned ophthalmologist with expertise to perform, cataract surgery by phacoemulsification with Toric, Multifocal and Extended Depth of Focus lenses, laser cataract surgery and LASIK, FemtoLASIK and SMILE Refractive surgery He also offers keratoconus treatment with collagen cross-linkage, glaucoma therapy and treatments for traumatic eye disorderes and conditions of neuro-ophthalmology. He is particularly interested in electronic medical records in ophthalmology.  In 2003-04, he won the Best Clinical Talk Award for DOS Monthly Clinical Meetings.   He was the Organizing Secretary of the First International Update in Neuro-ophthalmology in October 2002 at Chennai. Dr. Karna has delivered +25 lectures and presentations at national-level conferences.
