His area of interest is in transplants for Thalassemia, Immune Deficiency Syndromes, HAPLO and, MUD transplants in Leukemia He completed Post Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore Dr. Das also did MD (Paed) from Bombay University and MBBS from V.S.S. Medical College, Sambalpur University. He is specialized in Management and Transplant in Multiple Myeloma, Management of Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN), and, Transplant in Aplastic Anemia. The doctor is an active member of the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT) and the Founder Member of Indian Society of Blood and Marrow Transplant (ISBMT)
