About Dr. Serdar Kacar Dr. Serdar Kaçar is a general surgeon with 12+ years of experience. He won Young Researcher Award in 2002, Young Investigator Award in 2003 and SSK General Directorate Appreciation for the first intestinal transplant surgery in Turkey, 2003. He has performed more than 600 stomach reduction procedures. Dr.  Kaçar has many firsts to his credit such as performing Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and small bowel transplant in Istanbul. His clinical interests include Obesity Surgery, Metabolic Surgery, Reflux-Gastritis, Gall Bladder and Biliary Tract Surgery, Laparoscopic Anti Reflux Surgery, Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery. He has more than 50 international publications, 100 national publications, 12 chapters in book, attended domestic and international conferences in many scientific conferences.
