About Dr. Serkan Uysal Dr. Serkan Uysal is a Gastroenterologist with 16+ years of experience. His expertise lies in Cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gallbladder Disease, GERD (Heartburn, Acid Reflux), endoscopic procedures, etc. Dr. Uysal has completed his graduation from Ankara University School of Medicine, followed by post-graduation from the reputed Gazi University School of Medicine, Istanbul. Until now, he has worked in some of the premier institutes such as Bilgi Medical Center, Turkiye Yuksek Ihtisas Hospital, Ankara Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation Education Research Hospital, Giresun State Hospital, etc. He is a member of the Turkish Gastroenterology Society, Turkish Medical Society, Turkish Liver Disease Society, Turkish Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Society. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications and he is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CDE’s and worldwide conferences to talk about Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
