About Dr. Seung-Jae Hyun Dr. Seung-Jae Hyun is a Neurosurgeon in Seongnam, South Korea with around 16+ years in the field. He completed his graduation from Chung-Ang Univ, College of Medicine in 2003 and Master of Neurosurgery in 2007. He majored as a fellow in spinal deformity at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA, and has conducted many types of research about modern techniques for spinal deformity surgeries. He is also clinically inclined in areas such as genetic study for lumbar spinal stenosis and robotic spinal surgery. Dr. Hyun’s interests are in treating spinal deformities (scoliosis and kyphosis, congenital deformity, postoperative/degenerative flatback deformity), degenerative spinal disease (minimally invasive spinal surgery), infectious spinal disease, spinal cord arteriovenous malformations, etc. Along with writing several articles and presentations for conferences and journals, he has also played a key role of Principal Investigator in international trials.
