About Dr. Shahira Loza Dr. Shahira Fathy Loza is a well-known Psychiatrist with 28 years of experience. Her areas of Interest is Sleep medicine and intellectual disabilities. Dr. Loza graduated from Kasr al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 1979 and started her basic training in psychiatry at The Behman while completing her DPN&M degree at Cairo University. She continued practising at The Behman with a special focus on rehabilitation programmes and children with special needs. Dr. Loza assumed the position of director of Dar al-Toufoula for Rehabilitation in 1985 and served in many benevolent NGOs with the same interest. She had done her training at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio and Stanford University, California in 1996 stimulated her interest in sleep medicine. She successfully completed the sleep medicine course at the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in 1997. The doctor was also granted the Diploma of Sleep Medicine from the University of Montpellier, France.
