About Dr. Shakir Tabrez Dr. Shakir Tabrez is a renowned General Surgeon, who has been practicing for the last 16 years. He specializes in minimally invasive urology surgery, urostomy, transplant surgery, abdominoplasty, bariatric surgery, gastric sleeve surgery etc. He was the Gold Medalist and also won the medal for the best outgoing student. He has performed more than 1000 Laser TURP and more than 2000 other surgeries such as RIRS, PCNL, and other endourological procedures Dr. Shakir did MBBS from Annamalai University in 2001 and MS from Sri Ramchandra Medical College and Research in 2004. He further pursued Mch in Urology in 2008 and specialized training in laparoscopic surgery from Strabourg, France. He has worked as Professor of Urology at the National Board of Examination. He has been registered with Karnataka Medical Council since 2011.
