About Dr. Shalin Dubey Dr. Shalin Dubey is an experienced General & Laparoscopic Surgeon with 18+ years in the field. He is a Life Member of the Indian Association of Gastro-Endoscopic Surgeons (IAGES), the Asia Pacific Hernia Congress (APHC), and a Member of the Association of Medical Consultants. A bright student during his educational years, he has won a Gold Medal In Paediatrics during MBBS and also a Gold Medal in Social & Preventive Medicine. Dr. Dubey has several certifications such as Staplers in G.I. Surgery (2004), M.I.P.H (2005), Laparoscopic Fundoplication (2006), Laparoscopic Suturing (2008), and lastly Certification in Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair, all from Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education. He has performed more than 3000 complex Laparoscopic Surgeries such as liver resections, biliary bypass for strictures, Whipple’s procedure, anterior resection and abdominoperineal resections & total proctocolectomies with IPPA. He is also a writer and has penned several articles in national and international journals.
