About Dr. Shanitha Fathima Dr. Shanitha Fathima is an Obstetrician, Gynecologist, and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive expertise. Her clinical expertise includes managing normal and high risk pregnancies, including caesarean deliveries, laparotomy for gynaecological conditions, abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, and pelvic floor repair, hysterectomy, microwave endometrial ablation, fibroids removal surgery, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Dr. Shanitha Fathima earned her postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynaecology (MS OBG) from Kasthurba Medical College (Manipal University) and MBBS degree from Pariyaram Medical College in Kerala.  She began her career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at MES Medical College, which was a centre of excellence in gynecologic less invasive procedures and obstetrics. She has also received a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from India, as well as training in prenatal diagnostic and obstetric ultrasound.
