About Dr Shehla Shaikh Dr. Shehla Shaikh is a well-known Endocrinologist, with a thriving experience of more than 15 years. Her expertise lies in the treatment of Cushing Syndrome, Gestational Diabetes, Gigantism, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Acromegaly, Hyperprolactinemia. She has professional membership with the Endocrine Society of India., Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, the American Diabetes Association, and Organizing Secretary, First Asian Metabolic Surgery Taskforce. She has been the Principal investigator to national and international clinical trials and this has strengthened her research experience. On a monthly basis, she conducts diabetes education programs for patients and holds lectures for all family physicians based in Mumbai city.
