About Dr. Shekhar Ambardekar Dr. Shekhar Ambardekar is an eminent Interventional Cardiologist with 36+ years of experience. He is a Respected Member of the Cardiological Society Of India, Association of Physicians, Association of Medical Consultants, Indian Medical Association (IMA), Andheri Medical Association, Indian Academy of Echocardiography. He has completed his MBBS, M.D., (D.M.) Cardiology from Grant Medical College, Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. Dr. Ambardekar has extensive experience in teaching, having worked as a lecturer in Cardiology in Grant Medical College and J.J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai where he has mentored many graduate and postgraduate students.  He has expertise in Valvuloplasty Peripheral Angiography, Mitral/Heart Valve Replacement, PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs), etc. He has also written research-based articles in national and international journals.
