About Dr. Shilpa Kava Dr. Shilpa Kava is a reputed Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in India with more than 12+ years of experience. She is a member of organizations such as the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and Indian Medical Association. She has received several awards such as Gold Medal in Forensic Medicine – Second Professional Examination, MBBS in 2005, Short Term Studentship from ICMR award in 2005, and many more. She completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in 2007, MS – Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Delhi University in 2012, and PG Diploma – Medical Law & Ethics from National Law School, India in 2018. Her areas of expertise include Obstetrics including high-risk pregnancy care Gynecologic surgeries, Preventive Oncology and Colposcopy, Contraceptive counseling, Management of menstrual abnormalities (both non-surgical and surgical), etc. Dr. Kava has co-authored many articles and books on a national and international level.
