About Dr. Shiva Kumar R. Dr. Shiva Kumar R. is an experienced Neurologist with a career of more than 16+ years in the field. He is a member of the Bangalore Neurological Society, Indian Epilepsy Association, Indian Academy of Neurology, Neurological Society of India, and American Epilepsy Society. After completing his MBBS from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 2001, he did MD – General Medicine from KMC, Hubli in 2005, DNB – General Medicine from National Board of Examination, New Delhi in 2006, and DM – Neurology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Research in 2008. He later did a Fellowship in Epilepsy from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Research in 2009. He also had special training in “Comprehensive Epilepsy Care” at Shri R. Madhavan Nayar Center for Comprehensive Epilepsy Care, SCTIMST with adequate and extensive training in the fields of Epilepsy. His expertise lies in treating and the management of Epilepsy, Epilepsy monitoring Unit, Acute Stroke Care, Movement & Behavioural Disorders, Neuromuscular diseases, Neuro-Critical Care. etc. He has contributed various book chapters and has contributed to peer-reviewed scientific publications and international journals. Dr. Kumar R. has been actively involved in many global Conferences held by renowned medical institutions in the field of Neurosciences.
