About Dr. Shivakumar Sambargi Dr. Shivakumar Sambargi is an experienced General Paediatrician & Neonatologist with 15 years in the field. He has done his MBBS from Al Ameen Medical College in 2001, MD – Paediatrics from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2008. He followed his education with a Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from St. Philomenaâs Hospital. Bangalore. To further enhance his expertise in neonatal care, he pursued a Fellowship in Neonatology at the renowned King’s College Hospital, London, where he handled critical cases of preterm babies from 23 weeks onwards with birth weight as low as 400 gms. He has successfully treated children for a range of illnesses including Dengue Fever, Malaria, Status Asthmaticus, Seizure Kids, Septic Shock Kids, Acute Liver Failure, Acute Cardiac Failure, Status Epilepticus (fits), Head Injury, Severe Infections, etc. Dr. Sambargi has written well-researched publications including chapters in textbooks and also given presentations in various conferences and CMEs.
