About Dr. Shobana Rajendran Dr. Shobana Rajendran is a Senior Consultant Neonatologist at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Chennai. She did her undergraduate from Coimbatore Medical College. She started her post-graduation in Nuclear medicine at AIIMS but due to her keen interest in child care, she moved to pediatrics. She is a Gold medalist in Pediatrics and has done a super specialization in Neonatology. Dr. Shobana is an active trainer for advanced and basic neonatal resuscitation programs. She is the state coordinator for advanced NRP training. The doctor is a thesis co-guide for aspiring Neonatology residents in KKCTH. She is also a faculty for the neonatal ventilation workshop module. Her Prime area of interest is nutrition in preterm babies and retinopathy of prematurity
