About Dr. Sokiyna Al Ameer Dr. Sokiyna Al Ameer is an experienced and leading General Surgeon with a practice of +13 years in performing various procedures. She holds professional memberships of the Jordanian Medical Association, the Emirates Medical Association and the Royal College of Surgeons.  Dr. Ameer obtained her graduation degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2007. She did her internship and residency at the Jordan University Hospital, where she gained extensive training in managing a wide variety of surgical cases. She earned a fellowship of the American College of Surgeon. She is an expert general surgeon, who performs all kinds of breast surgery for benign and cancer cases, fissure/fistula and haemorrhoids’ surgeries using haemorrhoidal artery ligations and rectoanal repair HAL and RAR and laser treatment for anal conditions. These are highly sophisticated and less invasive methods. Dr. Ameer is also a skilled laparoscopic surgeon. She performs laparoscopic appendectomy/cholecystectomy and hernia repair surgeries.  She is actively involved with a one-stop breast clinic that seeks to diagnose tumours/cancers and direct therapy for all breast conditions.   She has been felicitated with the Organization Special Achievement Award of the Year 2018.
