About Dr. Soumen Roy Dr. Soumen Roy possesses +15 years of experience as a GI Surgeon. Some of his professional affiliations to medical societies include, the Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI), the International society of liver transplantation (ILTS), the European-International Hepato-pancreaticobiliary Asscociation, the Association of surgeons of India (ASI) and the  Indian association of surgical gastroenterology (IASG). Dr. Roy earned an MBBS degree in 2007 from the SCB Medical College, followed by MS from PGIMER in 2011. In 2015, he then did his M.Ch from AIIMS, New Delhi. In 2018, he did two fellowships, one at Apollo Hospital, Delhi and the other at Max Hospital, Delhi. He has also completed certificate course from PGIMER, in 2012 and another one in SELSICON, Chandgarh. The Apollo Hospital Group has given a certificate of appreciation for assisting in 3 liver transplants. Dr. Roy is an expert at performing, HPB/upper & lower GI/liver transplants/elective vascular surgeries and other general and GI surgical emergencies.
