Dr. Suhel Hussain Ahmed

Board-certified bariatric medicine physician, Suhel Ahmed, MD, brings more than 10 years of experience in weight management and obesity medicine to All Health Medical Group. With Offices located in Hackensack, Paramus, Paterson, Englewood cliffs, Clifton and Maywood New Jersey, serving patients throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties.

Dr. Ahmed began his professional education at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Ahmed went to Rutgers School of Medicine in Newark, New Jersey.

He completed his internship and residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey and then enrolled in training with The American Society of Bariatric Physicians, where he earned his board certification. Dr. Ahmed started All Health Medical Group to help clients achieve weight loss and a better quality of life, ever since.

Dr. Ahmed’s understanding manner and friendly demeanor make him a patient favorite. Over the years, he’s received compassionate doctor recognition, patient’s choice awards, and mentions on New Jersey’s Top Doc list. Dr. Ahmed specializes in chronic care management and regularly helps patients address conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension.

When he isn’t spending time with patients, Dr. Ahmed works as an associate professor at Rutgers medical school, teaching residents and APN students. Dr. Ahmed is fluent in English and Bengali, and acts as the medical director for Hackensack University Medical Center for Bariatric Medicine and Surgery. He is also the Borough Physician for Prospect Park in New Jersey.
