About Dr. Sureisen Mariapan Dr. Sureisen Mariapan is a leading Spine Surgeon with +19 years of experience. He did his MBBS and MS in 2002 and 2010 from the University Malaya. He earned the certification from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health as a Certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA). In 2016, he did a fellowship from the Ministry of Health. Dr. Mariapan is an expert at handling complex spine and trauma surgeries. His areas of surgical expertise include, tumour/infection reconstruction, infection debridement and reconstruction, adult & pediatrics deformities correction. He also performs endoscopic spine surgery, navigation-assisted surgery, minimally-invasive spine/trauma/joint replacement surgeries and lateral access spine surgery. His clinical expertise includes treating deformities, infections, deformities, tumours, trauma & fracture and pain management of the spine. He also treats trauma such as, adult and paediatric fractures, complex pelvic acetabular fracture reconstruction, lower limb reconstruction and general orthopaedics. Dr. Mariapan has co-authored a few papers where he shares his findings from his surgical practice.
