About Dr. Suresh Kumarasamy Dr. Suresh Kumarasamy is a leading Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in Penang. He has more than 35 years of extensive experience in Gynaecology, Oncology and Laparoscopic surgery. He has received numerous international awards for his excellence. He also has an interest in menstrual bleeding problems and pioneered the introduction of microwave treatments (MEA).  He is a Chairman of the Malaysian Medical Association and Gynaecological Oncology Sub-committee of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia, and a member of the Malaysian Menopause Society and the editorial board of the Medical Journal of Malaysia. Dr. Suresh Kumarasamy has several publications, journals, and articles to his name.   He has completed an MBBS from the University of Mysore, India. He did MD from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Dr. Suresh obtained his specialist training (MRCOG) in the United Kingdom. He has done Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, UK. He has been trained about Infertility care (IVF, ICSI etc) at two well-known centres – St. James’ University Hospital, Leeds, UK, and Bourn Hall Clinic, Cambridge. Dr. Suresh Kumarasamy is well-versed in English, Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indonesia.
