About Dr. Suryanarayana Sharma Dr. Suryanarayana Sharma is a Bangalore-based Neurologist with more than 16+ years in the field. He is a life member of the Indian Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Neurology, Indian Stroke Association, Indian Epilepsy Association, Association of Physicians of India, and also a life member and executive committee member of the Society of Neurosonology. He completed MBBS from JSS University, Mysore in 2004, MD – General Medicine from JJMMC Davangere RGUHS Bangalore in 2007, and DM – Neurology from the same institution in 2011. He has a Fellowship in Stroke and Neurosonology, National University Hospital, Singapore, a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (P. D. Hinduja Hospitals, Mumbai) in 2011, and HICC coordinator in BGS Global Hospital in 2011-12. He is also a WHO certified fellow in Diabetes by M. Vishwanathan Diabetes Center, Chennai. Dr. Sharma has 20 publications in national and international journals, 2 Chapters in a textbook, 21 scientific paper presentations for conferences, and he has been a co-investigator for 5 magical international clinical trials in Neurology. He has expertise in areas such as nerve and muscle disorders, brain tumor surgery, fibromyalgia treatment, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease treatment, gamma-knife radiosurgery, vagus nerve stimulation, multiple sclerosis treatment, etc.
