About Dr. Sushruth Shetty Dr. Sushruth Shetty is a surgical gastroenterologist with 8+ years of experience. His areas of expertise include HPB surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal cancers, gall stone disease, advanced laparoscopic surgery, portal hypertension surgery, hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction, complex fistula in ano surgery, surgical management of ulcerative colitis, corrosive oesophageal strictures and chronic pancreatitis. He is a member of the Karnataka Medical Council, Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI). Dr. Shetty completed MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and MS in general surgery from JIPMER, Puducherry and MCh in surgical gastroenterology at NHLMMC, Ahmedabad. He has penned several articles for national journals. He won many awards: Dr. KP Ganesan memorial Gold medal for Second Best Outgoing Student in MBBS for the year 2010 Late Dr. Amrish Jagmohandas Parikh Gold Medal in MCh from Gujarat University
