About Dr. T.S Mahant Dr. T.S Mahant is a renowned Cardiac Surgeon, based in Mohali having extensive 32+ years of expereince. Dr. Mahant has performed 27000+ surgeries successfully ranging from neonates to elderly patients. He initiated the first Coronary Bypass at PGIMER and SGPGI, Lucknow, and also established the neonatal pediatric surgery program at SGPGI, Lucknow. He has worked in some of the premier institutes such as Medical College, Shimla, PGIMER, Chandigarh, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute, Lucknow, Dunedin Hospital, and Green Lane Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, St. Vincents Hospital, Sydney, Australia, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia. Dr. T.S Mahant completed his MBBS from Medical College, Shimla, and did his MS in General Surgery as well as M Ch. CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications and he is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CME’s, and worldwide conferences to talk about Cardiac procedures.
