About Dr. Tan Vern Hsen Dr. Tan Vern Hsen is a licensed Interventional cardiologist with over 21 years of experience. He has received numerous honours for his outstanding work in the field of heart arrhythmia, cardiac arrest (sudden cardiac death), catheter ablation, myocardial infarction (heart attack), and heart failure. He is a member of the Singapore Medical Council, the Singapore Medical Association and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Dr. Tan Vern Hsen has completed his MBBS (2001) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has a fellowship in MRCP (UK, 2008). He obtained his fellowship (2014) in cardiac electrophysiology at Libin Cardiovascular Institute, Foothills Medical Centre, University of Calgary, Canada. He attained another fellowship (2016) in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK.  He is the author of various papers and publications. Dr. Tan Vern Hsen is well-versed in English and Malay.
