About Dr. Tang Kok Kee Dr. Tang Kok Kee is a well-qualified Neurosurgeon with 27+ years of experience. He specializes in microsurgery and the treatment of several neurological disorders in children and adults.  Dr. Tang was qualified as a surgeon in 1994. Further, he completed his training in neurosurgery in England, the UK in 2000, and subsequently, he pursued his training under the supervision of the late Dr. Anthony Hockley at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and under Professor Garth Cruickshank and Dr. Graham Flint at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In 2003, he was honored with the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award to complete training in pediatric neurosurgery at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Oakland, California, the USA under the mentorship of Professor Dachling Pang, a pioneer in diagnosing and treating spinal problems and hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid in the brain).
