About Dr. Tay Miah Hiang Dr. Tay Miah Hiang is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist with more than three decades of clinical and surgical experience. He has previously worked at the National Cancer Centre Singapore’s Department of Medical Oncology. He was the Chairman of the Patient Education & Patient Survivorship programs. He is currently an advisor of the Singapore Children’s Cancer Foundation and an elected member of the Singapore Medical Council. He has won numerous awards for his excellent contribution to disaster-inflicted regions. His clinical expertise includes lung cancer, cancers of the stomach, colon, rectum, liver, prostate, kidney, testicular, and bladder, gynecological cancers such as ovarian and uterine/cervical cancers, and brain tumors. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992 and completed his Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine. Afterward, he pursued membership in the Royal College of Physicians, the UK in 1993. In 2003, he was honored with the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Scholarship to complete training at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, USA.
