About Dr. Tejas Thakkar Dr. Tejas Thakkar is a leading Orthopedic & Joint Replacement surgeon with +21 years of experience in performing orthopedic surgeries pertaining to joint replacement, deformities, traumatic spinal cord injury and such other injuries and trauma to joints and bones and fractures. He is a professional member of, the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Gujarat Orthopaedic Association and the Ahmedabad Orthopaedic Society.  He also holds Fellowships of, the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation,  Association for Osteosynthesis/Association for the Study of Internal Fixation and the AO Spine Fellowship. Dr. Thakkar is a graduate of the Saurashtra University (1995) and an MS (Ortho) degree holder from the same university (1998).  He is an orthopedic and joint replacement surgeon specialising in joint replacement, cold orthopedic surgeries, a spastic disorder with contracture and deformity, traumatic spinal cord injury, acetabular fracture, intra-articular fracture, and degenerative spine injury.  Dr. Thakkar’s clinical interests include, spinal degeneration, deformity, tumor and fracture and is particularly interested in cervical compression and deformity and minimal access surgery.
