About Dr. Thidarat Tanking Dr. Thidarat Tanking is an experienced and a leading Opthalmologist who has been practicing orbit and oculoplastic surgeries for +14 years. In 2007, she completed her MD with second class honours from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and then in 2013, did a diploma from the Thai Board of Ophthalmology, The Medical Council of Thailand, followed by a certificate in 2014. Then in 2015, she was a research scholar at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, HMS and then in the same year was an observer at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, USA. Dr. Tanking is a specialised ophthalmologic surgeon with proven expertise in performing oculoplastic and orbital surgery caused by congenital anomalies, injuries to the eyelids, tear ducts, and the orbit. She also treats entropion, ectropion, ptosis, blepharoplasty, removal of eyelid tumours, canthal resection, canthoplasty, canthoplasty Tarsorrhaphy and canthectomy. Some of the other procedures she undertakes are, dacryocystorhinostomy and eye removal. She also does orbital prosthetics and decompression. She has co-authored a few research papers on various aspects of ophthalmic procedures.
