About Dr. Timothy Lim Yong Kuei Dr. Timothy Lim Yong Kuei is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynecologist with nearly 25 years of experience. He holds clinical expertise in the management of gynecological cancers. He pursued his basic medical degree from NUS in 1998 and completed his postgraduate qualifications in O&G from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London in 2003. In 2006, he began his gynecological oncology fellowship training in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology, KKH. Further, in 2008, he was a recipient of the Health Manpower Development Programme of MOH(HMDP) award to achieve training in minimally invasive gynecological cancer surgery in France under the tutorship of the renowned Prof Denis Querleu. In 2016, he established minimally invasive gyne-cancer surgery in KKH and ICG-NIR sentinel lymph node biopsy services for endometrial cancers. He performed his first laparoscopic Wertheim’s radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer in 2009 and ICG- NIR sentinel lymph node biopsy for early endometrial cancer in Dec 2015. In 2016, he also started digital colposcopy services in the management of preinvasive diseases in the colposcopy suites, KKH. In 2015, he also carried out his first successful pregnancy for a young cervical cancer survivor who underwent a fertility-sparing radical trachelectomy in Singapore.
