About Dr. Tony Tan Dr. Tony Tan is a renowned Obstetrician and Gynecologist with 25+ years of experience. He pursued his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1993 and then obtained his specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2000. He furthered his expertise in fetal medicine including twin pregnancies at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, London. Afterward, he joined the Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and was a Consultant over there till October 2006. He then joined Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Raffles Hospital, and served as a Consultant and Clinical Director till June 2019. He specializes in the management of high-risk pregnancies, twin pregnancies, miscarriages, screening and diagnosis of fetal abnormalities, prevention and management of preterm labor, management of pre-eclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction, and strategies to prevent stillbirth.  He has articles and papers published in academic journals. He often gets invitations to speak at local, regional and international medical conferences. He attains fellowships of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He also serves as an examiner for the MRCOG examinations and the Exit examinations for local OG trainees.
