About Dr. Tulip Chamany Dr. Tulip Chamany is one of the leading General Surgeons of India, who has an experience of nearly 24 years. She has expertise in performing revision surgeries such as gastric sleeve surgery, mini-gastric bypass, Roux-en Y Gastric Bypass, gastric band surgery, and other forms of bariatric surgeries. She was the first surgeon in the country to perform surgery in an International Bariatric Surgery Workshop in 2001. She has been a part of the Faculty for Laparoscopic bariatric training course in 2010. Dr. Tulip completed his MBBS from University of Pune in 1991, followed by MS in General Surgery in 1996. Further, she did Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Spine surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2005, and Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from University of Minnesota USA in 2008. She has been a faculty for the bariatric fellowship programme through the Rajiv Gandhi University and Laparoscopic Bariatric Training Course. She has been registered with Karnataka Medical Council since 2003.
