About Dr. Vidhya Moorthy Dr. Vidhya Moorthy is a Senior Obstetrician and Fetal Medicine specialist at Birthright by Rainbow Hospitals, Chennai, and has more than 10 years of experience in these fields. She completed her MBBS in 2006. She obtained MRCOG (UK) in 2015, after which she went over to do her further training in Fetal Medicine (scanning mother and babies to diagnose and manage complications) in the world’s leading and renowned Harris Birthright research Center at King’s college hospital. She is one of the very few doctors in India who has undertaken Fetal Medicine training there. She has worked in higher grades in various high-risk obstetrics units in the United Kingdom and is skilled in managing high-risk pregnancy and delivery complications. She is very passionate about giving the best outcome for every pregnancy especially when there are concerns about fetal abnormalities and dilemmas about further management. The doctor also has special interests and research experience in pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia and Fetal growth restrictions and works towards diagnosing, preventing and managing them at very early stages.
