About Dr. Vignesh Thanikgaivasan Dr. Vignesh Thanikgaivasan is an Interventional Cardiologist with a practice of 22 years in Tamil Nadu. His affiliations with medical societies include his memberships of the American College of Cardiology, the Cardiological Society of India, the Indian Medical Association, the European Society of Cardiology, the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology, the International affiliate member of SCAI, and the Medical Sciences Academy. After completing his MBBS in 2002, he did his MD in 2008 and DM in 2014 from Sri Ramachandra Medical University. He was an Associate Fellow of the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC) in 2016 and a Fellow of the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA).  He has performed more than 2000 Coronary Angiograms, Peripheral Angiograms as a Single operator, several Temporary Pacemaker, implantation, Pericardio contests, and IABP Pericardiocentesis. His medical expertise includes, pacemaker implants, performing coronary angioplasty, cardioverter-defibrillator implants, acute aortic dissection, cardiac ablation and cardiac catheterisation.  Dr. Thanikgaivasan also treats arrhythmia, does Holter monitoring, CT angiogram, ECG and Tread Mill Test. He also does non-invasive cardiological procedures.  He has numerous publications to his credit.
