About Dr. Vitoon Chainswangwatanakul Dr. Vitoon Chainswangwatanakul is a trained Colo-Rectal Surgeon with 25 years of experience. He is interested in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, hernia, surgical infection, nutrition and carcinogenesis of colorectal cancer. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery (JSES) and the Thai Medical Council. He is also Assistant Dean of Research Affair and Head of Siriraj Cancer Center.  He is the President of the Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons of Thailand (LEST) and Secretary-General of the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand.  Dr. Vitoon Chainswangwatanakul has completed MD (1986) from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. He has trained in Surgery (1992) from Siriraj Hospital, Thailand. He has done Doctor of Philosophy (1999) at the University of London, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, UK. Dr. Vitoon Chainswangwatanakul is well-versed in English and Thai.
