About Dr. Vivek Mehan Dr. Vivek Mehan is a renowned Cardiologist, who has an experience of more than 31 years. He specializes in cases like coronary angioplasty, peripheral angiography, cardiac ablation, cardiac catheterization, coronary bypass surgery etc. He has received Young Investigator Award (USA) in 1994, and Outstanding Young Indian Award (Indian Jaycees) in 1996. He also won the Outstanding Young Person Award (Bombay Jaycees) in 1996. Dr. Vivek completed his MBBS in 1984 followed by MD in General Medicine from King Edward Memorial Hospital in 1989. Additionally, he also continued to do DM in 1991 and DNB in Internal Medicine in 1989. At present, he is a member of Editorial Board of Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions, and Journal of Association of Physicians of India.
