Dr Fawzi Hassan, who treats patients over the age of 65 who are affected by health conditions that affect one’s well-being, successfully completed an MB BCh in medicine (honours) at Cairo University in 1995. After this, he was notably awarded a prestigious UN scholarship that allowed him to undertake a diploma in geriatrics and gerontology at the International Institute of Ageing, which he completed in 1998.
